Guidance Design

As product designers, what we want users to do are often largely different from what they would do or willing to do. This requires appropriate guidance design to guide and hint users. Guidance design includes "newbie guidance" and "upgrade and paid guidance". The timing of the guidance appearance is crucial, and visual communication should not excessively interrupt or make users feel "coerced".

Project 1.
Newbie
Guidance

Taitopia is a professional product renderer designed for industrial designers, with a wide range of features. Some functions are hidden or presented as icons, which may take users some time to learn. Through timely and easy-to-close new user guidance, we provide learning support for users who want to quickly understand the functions. Additionally, we also have "trigger-based" and "inserted" guidance designs to adapt to the characteristics of different functions.

Project 2.
What Should I Do Next...

Taitopia has some "creative features" that are not found in other similar products, and they may require multiple steps to complete. After triggering such a feature, users may not know what to do next. In this case, we guide users to complete the operation by providing real-time banner hints near the user's visual focus.
